Why so many Icons ?

Hi there, as I am right now at the point to make a new app icon

i am confused. WHY do we need so many todo manual.

I mean, we could do one big and Corona Server could compile them all down to whats needed.

It seems especially at Android it comes more and more, right now i cound around 20 !!! possible

Icon Sizes.

I tried less like in the png2box2d sample *just 8 !* but on my s4 the icon appears mini

NOw i use all icons like in the Bridge Demo.

whats really needed now?

and isnt there an option to do it all automatically, downsizing by corona

First, last, and only stop for icons and their related sizes:
