The “sprite” library is actually full of bugs and for the last 3-4 months we only read about “issues tracking”. This is rather dissapointing because spritesheets is one of the core things a high-class graphics engine should properly support!
Some bugs that have been discussed but not resolved for months:
Peach brought this up at our engineering meeting and I am going to raise the priority on this but I will need your help.
Can one of you create sample apps that exibit each problem (#1 to #5) with the corresponding sprites, and images as well and documented lines of code that exhibit each problem
Big plus if you could (aside from the obvious) include an image that shows the right behaviour?
Also - I did not see any of these bugs on the bug base. Anyone who enters them and be willing to give me the bug numbers, I will raise the priority and put resources behind it.
Please, pretty please, please please with sugar on top?
Carlos
ps: the faster you get this to me and enter them in the bug base - the faster they get to engineering and the faster they get to engineering means that they won’t start on any other “fire-drill” bugs.
Great news!
By the way, I will show my Corona game prototype to an editor this week. If we ink a contract, I’ll suscribe to Corona. So be warned that I will cry for this graphic pipeline improvement you promised
