widget.newPickerWheel( ) custom graphics

I’ve got an issue with the picker wheel, it works as intended.
But when I add my custom graphics (it’s the same dimensions and everything, just orange instead of grey/blue) they position themselves on top of the text and numbers.
I can still scroll through the different values if I check the console, but they are not visible since they are behind the picker wheel graphics.

The only difference is that the original graphics use a bitdepth of 32 while mine use a bitdepth of 24.
Those last 8 bits are the alpha channel.
I can’t seem to get Illustrator to squeeze those last 8 bits in, are they required for the graphics to work as intended or am I missing something else?

Does anyone have any working custom graphics and code too share?
Or just suggestions in general?
