Will 3rd party ad plugins be allowed in the corona store now that they are owned by Perk?

I’m not really sure where to ask this, there isn’t a general forum in the corona store forums.

Anyways I was just wondering if someone from the corona team could respond and just say yes or no if 3rd party ad plugins will be allowed in the store? I understand that perk is essentially also an ad company and it seems like they will have their own ad plugin eventually. Are they going to go the “use our ads and only our ads” route that fuse went?

We are certainly going to continue to offer the existing ad plugins including iAds, Admob, Fuse, etc. As far as new ad providers go, they will have to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We will be also offering the Perk ad platform, but you will not be required to use it. We hope you will want to (want to make it uber simple to use), but there will be choices for you.

Okay this video Perk’s CEO says 3rd party ads will be allowed so that makes me feel better.

My company is mostly casino based niche and one of if not the largest ad provided is applovin. Their RPMs are through the roof but I have never been able to take advantage of it. Hopefully he holds true to his words and does what’s best for devs and not necessarily what puts the most money in their pockets. I would be willing to try their plugin but at the end of the day it would make the most sense to use what makes the most revenue.

That’s very good if they do allow 3rd party plugins - is someone developing an applovin plugin now, or can someone submit that one pretty please?
