I know there’s a bit of fun jumping onto the Daily Builds page to see what’s new, but like probably many of you, it’s a constant routine of having close down the Simulator and Terminal, login and/or go to the webpage, download and mount the latest DMG, drag it into Applications, and then unmount and Trash the DMG.
Any chance of having the Simulator tell you there’s a newer Daily Build, to which it will auto-apply to itself and relaunch upon request?
On a side note, if you happen to launch the Simulator, it doesn’t launch the Terminal, and if you launch the Terminal after the fact, you won’t get your app’s console output (or the Simulator’s for that matter). Is there a way around it, or have I been doing it wrong all these years by launching Corona Terminal which then launches both the Terminal and Simulator? I ask because the Terminal doesn’t have an icon, but the Simulator does. So, it’s naturally intuitive that one launches the icon’ed app, but that doesn’t appear to be correct in this case.
