I’ve got a plan for an app I’m going to work on for iOS, but I’m not completely sure if it’ll work. I’m running short on money and I don’t have a functional Mac.  Here’s what I’m gonna do:

  1. Develop the app on my PC

  2. Upload the Corona project files to Dropbox

  3. Download them to a rented Mac (MacinCloud)

  4. Build the app with Corona on the rented Mac

  5. Deploy it to the App Store

Is there anything I’m missing? Will this go as planned, or are there things that just can’t be done? Please let me know!

That will work. 

Another option is setting up an Hackintosh. I tried it few years ago. Its better to be somewhat tech savvy when doing that in my experience, but you will have a mac you can just alt-tab to, its quite handy.

Mac Mini’s are pretty cheap and you can probably find a used on on Craigslist or eBay for even cheaper.

But quite a few people do the Mac in a Cloud thing.
