Willing to learn, need directions to get started

Getting Started Newbie Questions

I wanted to create a game very much like the Final Fantasy games for the N64. With this specific view:

Can anyone point in the right? Some things I’ve tried to figure out:

  • Map moving along as the player does, the player stays in the same location on screen
  • NPC’s (random walking)
  • Touch to move [import]uid: 69355 topic_id: 11251 reply_id: 311251[/import]

as a beginner, the best tool that will help you get through is Lime.

It will do most of the things that you are after and you can create the maps outside.
