This is obviously not a simple undertaking but this is a fairly new market place and the ability to deploy on all three platforms would be great. [import]uid: 10374 topic_id: 3658 reply_id: 303658[/import]
I’d like to see both Windows Mobile 7 and Blackberry supported. [import]uid: 11021 topic_id: 3658 reply_id: 11154[/import]

You mean Nokia Phone 7?
LOL

Carlos, It would be unfair on the other hardware manufacturers to brand it from Windows Phone 7 to Nokia Phone 7, but yes, it is essentially the same.
I have a Samsung Taylor with me for testing, now not many would know about that, it is a Windows Phone early Prototype distributed internally at Microsoft. I got that one for testing.
If Microsoft and Ansca can have some breakthrough, it would be so nice…it will save me from trying to run a VM to run Windows and then run Expression and Visual Studio and waste hours trying to work on an app then spend the same amount of time on the same for iOS (the one that has more reachability as of today)
cheers,

@jayant : you did read my blog with windows phone 7
the issue is more than just supporting windows phone 7 — you have to use Silverlight as a native platform. Corona on top of silverlight? + bunch of other issues… $$$
But I hear you…
BTW:: there is an email i need to reply to you

Hi Carlos,
Since you are using OpenGL on Corona SDK as the base layer to provide uniformity across platforms, WP& does not have to use Silverlight, it can also use the XNA (DirectX) which would be more like OpenGL than Silverlight would. DO you think that could be an avenue to explore?
