Windows Simulator bug

The following bug is just annoying.

Corona’s simulator window will open at the same location on the screen as it was previously. This is not a problem unless, like me you use more than one monitor at times.

If you use a second monitor (to extend your desktop, not just duplicate it) and move the simulator window onto the second monitor, close corona, shut down computer…whatever. The next time you open corona the window will be placed in the same location… even if that location is off the visable screen. The issue can be fixed by either changing the x/y positions stored for corona in the registry or plugging back in the second monitor and moving it back to your “main” screen. (I have not filed a bug report for this and am unlikly to but… it just happened to me again had to bitch a little.) [import]uid: 40100 topic_id: 16968 reply_id: 316968[/import]

Hey Allen,

I’ve never once heard anyone mention this and although I can tell you it will not be top priority (bigger bugs to fry) I can promise you that I will bring it up in our next meeting.

As someone who’s doing dual monitor developement on W7x64, I do notice that the simulator jumps to the correct screen while the text printout always reverts to the main screen. Haven’t tried out the OP’s problem though. [import]uid: 41884 topic_id: 16968 reply_id: 64351[/import]

You can also do the following:

Press Alt-tab
Press M
Press the left arrow
And the window is attached to your mouse and you can drag it into view. [import]uid: 21937 topic_id: 16968 reply_id: 81499[/import]
