Windows Simulator Freezes when using captureBounds and Composer

Hey Folks,

I’m pulling my hair out with this issue.   My Windows simulator display freezes when I use captureBounds in a Composer scene.  I’ve tried it without the compser scene and it seems to work fine.   I’ve tried using different skins, but the problem does not go away.   The code works fine with the Mac simulator.   I’ve tried to uninstall Corona Sim and re-install, I’ve tried the public release and the latest daily build.  All no luck.   I just read a suggestion to Deauthorize and then Reauthorize, so I’m going to try that with the latest Daily Build.

And, yes, I did submit a bug report, but no feedback on whether this is a known issue or whether someone else can duplicate it.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi @michael714,

Is it possible (is your code relatively short enough) to show here in the forums, so we can inspect? I can’t imagine why it would work outside of a Composer scene but not within a scene. Odd.

Best regards,

Brent

Hi Brent,

I already sent it in with my bug report.  I do have the minimalized project files zipped up if you would like me to email them to you.

Michael

Can you please post the bug Case ID # that was emailed to you?

Thanks

Rob

Rob,

Interesting you should ask.  I received no confirmation email.  Perhaps I didn’t complete the process?   I’ll resubmit.   Thanks for keeping an eye out!

Michael

Just found the confirmation email from July 8 (after I resubmitted!).  Here is the case number:

Case 41631

Thank you for your concern!
