Greetings!

My name is Chad Wilson. I am an independent developer, and Stupidgizmo is my start up.

Today, I am proud to present to you our first title, made with Corona SDK, Winds of Destiny - Duels of the Magi.
This game is a retro head to head arcade style strategy game that combines many different mechanics in a fun and challenging new way that is accessible to all ages. Taking elements from fighting games, trading card games, and RPG’s, With its easy to learn/difficult to master gameplay style, Winds of Destiny serves as a perfect coffee break game that you can play head to head against your friends.

We are currently in the Google Play Store, coming soon to the Samsung store, and working on getting onto iOS in the App store.

Update v1.9 – Trial of the Vanguard

Hey Everyone!
 

We want to thank everyone for all of their kind displays of support and insightful reviews over this last month. We listened! Over the past two weeks, I’ve been working hard producing more content for the game!

I do want to make clear that in this patch, over-internet random multiplayer has been removed due to lack of interest. It is also due in part, that it is a bit too much for me to handle at this state. I would rather not provide a service, than to provide an substandard one.

I also want to make clear that this is not the expansion I have referred to. There is still an expansion planned for a later date that will build on top of this update. So, with all that said, I hope you will accept my trade. Thanks for your continued support!

 

Added to the Game -

 

Survival mode – 1 Player – The next chapter in the Winds of Destiny storyline introduces a new game type, Survival mode! In this mode, players will do battle against multiple foes to protect the Gateway, while struggling to survive The Trial of the Vanguard.

  • Play as any of the Original 9 characters (including Custos!)
  • Customize your character with 6 different Guardian Abilities!
  • Battle against randomized enemies, with their own enhanced powers!
  • Deck mechanics revised for “Turbo" mode!

One Screen – 2 Players – By popular demand, one screen format for 2 player mode! Duel your friends in person sharing 1 device!
