World and Level Selection tutorial

I have posted a simple world and level selection tutorial with a sample project. If anyone is interested, you can find it at http://www.newnams.com/corona-level-selection-tutorial/

Thanks,

Very cool - I can see you’re using the same theme as Techority

You are also using the same plugin for coloring your code; this is a good plugin for the most part BUT it does some odd things with < and >.

Look at your code and do a CTRL+F for “<”.

Great stuff though - will be perfect after code is cleaned.

Thanks for letting me know about the < and >. I hadn’t even noticed that. Yes, I am using the same theme. I tried a few and it was just nice and clean looking.

Are you using Color Coder for your syntax highlighting too?

Thanks Mark for this :). We need more tutorials using the Storyboard api.

Yes, Color Coder, that’s why I knew to look for the > and < issues. (A pain but still the best for Lua I’ve found yet.)

For the theme, definitely, it is fantastic  [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 21966 reply_id: 87464[/import]

I found WP-SynHighlight is quite good

You can see an example here:

Ooooh - that is better! I didn’t see it when looking for Lua options.

Will start using it on Techority  (At least in a day or two, when I’m ready to update all my posts with it :P)

Thanks Jason
