Would CoronaSDK support Cortex-A series chips?

I am thinking of getting an android device

this runs on a Cortex A8 chip, is this supported by CoronaSDK? Anyhting that is lesser than ARMv& is not supported, so want to make sure so that this investment does not go waste like the others.

Yes all ARM Cortex SoC’s support ARMv7. The tablet you linked to doesn’t specify what SoC it is using but I would guess it’s probably a TI OMAP3630 which is over a year old.
