Would the community be interested in implementing wagering in multiplayer games / the crypto currency based GPlay Store?

Unity recently partnered with GNation to enable automatic publishing on their GPlay store (offers 10% commissions). They will also enable easy integration of wagering. This way, players can play head to head in a game betting some money on the outcome.

As a Corona dev, I would be very interested in this. First of all, I could offer discounts on in-app purchases to attract players to the GPlay version of my game while still getting more profit. I could also attract players by offering in-game finds of their currency, GameCredits (this is one of the features).

Secondly, I could attract more players by having multiplayer games which enable them to wager. Even a 50 cent wager on a game between friends would be really fun. Pros could organise their own tournaments with bigger stakes.

Another advantage of the GPlay store is when it’s released in China, Unity devs will be able to automatically publish their games there and have access to the Chinese market which is currently harder to access.

What do you guys think of this?

Edit:

This isn’t about gambling and they are not going to be publishing gambling apps.

This is about wagering on games of skill.

For some reason, I thought the EULA for Corona precluded making gambling apps that use real monies.

I could be wrong, but it is worth double-checking.

Yeah they are also not going to be publishing gambling apps. The wagering is only on games of skill. So could be as simple as a game of chess.
