I understand push notifications are not yet part of Corona (but coming in the future). In the meantime, I have a clarification question.
Would the following case be supported by push notifications?
- the player installs your iPad game Foobar
- when opening Foobar, the player opts-in to receive notifications from you
- a month later, you release the new iPad game Barfoo2000, and you want to send the news out to those who have Foobar installed
- your users (who opted in) open up their iPad next time and receive a news alert on their iPad home screen saying “The new game Barfoo2000 is out”… when they click “View”, they are taken to a screen pointing to this game/ or taken to the app store directly
Would that work, once push notifications are supported?
