How to I write to external storage, such as an SD card? My google-fu has failed me. All I can find is ways to save to system.DocumentsDirectory.
You can’t. Corona SDK does not support access to the SD card
Is this a feature that will ever be implemented? It is an important enough feature that I will have to look for an alternate framework, which I really don’t want to do, because I love Corona.
I don’t think this is on the near-term plans. But you can go to http://feedback.coronalabs.com and find the existing entry for it and vote for it. The more votes it gets, the higher we will prioritize it.
