Your app does not display properly on the new iPad. Items are cut off.

I submitted my patch for my iOS game Pixaquarium last week. Today i got a rejection saying: “Your app does not display properly on the new iPad. Items are cut off.” Here is the image provided by apple:

This happens only on the new iPad running iOS 5.1

I built my game with corona daily build 799 with xCode 4.0.2.

I’ve been looking around for solution and found that i need to compile with daily build 767. But i compile my newest game version with daily build 799. Is it different? Should i download 767 and give it a try? Just want to make sure before i resubmit.

Anything else i need to update? Like config files?

That is strange.

Please file a bug report here (attach your build.settings, config.lua files, or if you can the whole project): http://developer.anscamobile.com/content/bug-submission

Reference my name (in the bug report) and I will investigate this asap for you. [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 26172 reply_id: 106070[/import]

Done, sent everything over. Thanks for looking into it. [import]uid: 74723 topic_id: 26172 reply_id: 106076[/import]

I’m having the same problem, shall I also submit a bug report, or is there a solution found?
I’m using build 704
Please tell me that there is a fix. [import]uid: 90736 topic_id: 26172 reply_id: 106109[/import]

I´ve had the same problem, then i’ve used the 704 version launched on march 19th and everything works fine.

Here is the link to that version

Good Luck!!! [import]uid: 84893 topic_id: 26172 reply_id: 106170[/import]

Building for iOS 5.1 requires Corona Build 767 or later and Xcode 4.3. Using Xcode 4.0.2 is not supported and may or may not be related to the problem. This is not something we test for since it’s not officially supported by Apple

Building your app with build 799 and Xcode 4.3 displays correctly on the New iPad Retina [import]uid: 7559 topic_id: 26172 reply_id: 106668[/import]

@Tom
Will 4.2 work? I am using snow leopard and not planning to upgrade to lion anytime soon. [import]uid: 74723 topic_id: 26172 reply_id: 106724[/import]
