Your application built but failed to pass Apple's validation tests.

After updating to the latest daily build, I had issues with building the same application, the following error:

failed to extract requirements data: 1
/Users/rached/Desktop/Fishies-iPad.app: code or signature modified
failed to extract entitlements: 1

  • (null)

The terminal displays the following:
/Users/rached/Desktop/Fishies-iPad.app: replacing invalid existing signature
codesign_allocate: for architecture armv6 object: /Users/rached/Desktop/Fishies-iPad.app/Fishies-iPad malformed object (unknown load command 9)
/Users/rached/Desktop/Fishies-iPad.app: object file format invalid or unsuitable

I tried building one of the demos (Fishies-iPad) and it still had the same error.

I have not changed the code signature, and I have a different developer profile which I also tested and had the same problem.

I downgraded back to 2011.704 (2011.12.8) and I am still facing the same error.
It was working fine before but now it builds a .app file but I cannot put it on the ipad 2, it gives me the error:

The application does not have a valid signature. [import]uid: 53864 topic_id: 20991 reply_id: 320991[/import]

Have you upgraded the XCODE environment? [import]uid: 22737 topic_id: 20991 reply_id: 82915[/import]

No
I have tested on another Mac which has the latest xcode and it seems to be working.
I am using xcode 3.2.4 on this machine where corona started failing.

Does Corona need the latest xcode installed on the machine? and it was working before [3days ago] fine.

I had some troubles with some daily builds that dissapeard when I upgraded XCODE and then reinstalled Corona SDK. [import]uid: 22737 topic_id: 20991 reply_id: 82921[/import]
