Strange, today’s installs IR seems to be normal again, yesterday’s installs are still not changed here… [import]uid: 50459 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142374[/import]
Yup. Dashboard seems updated now.
@rmbsoft: I believe they credited all the lost installs (even from last week) today, as what they mentioned in the previous thread. You won’t see anymore changes in your past stats. Have you emailed them? [import]uid: 44127 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142376[/import]
@egarayblas: Yes, I emailed them, I hope they figure it out

I have a feeling there’s still a problem with reporting. I got a huge amount of install revenue that I’m guessing was from the past couple of days that were missed and then I got pretty much no more for the rest of the day. [import]uid: 79620 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142425[/import]
Yeah, today seems to be the same as yesterday, I got many clicks, but the install rate is going towards 0.5 again. I emailed them, they said they are still backfilling installs, but yesterday still wasn’t backfilled for me.
I’ll wait until tomorrow to see how it looks then.

Hello guys.
How can you tell if you if you got credited? By looking at yesterday numbers? It will be great if Revmob could add “credit” column so it will be easier to tell. I did not get any install yesterday (and setting the date to yesterday) did not show anything. It is probably just there were no downloads it sure will be great to have any easier way to tell…
Cheers.

I just looked at the number of installs and it was pretty high so thats how I came to the conclusion I got credited. Still looks like something is wrong though. Still getting tons of impressions and clicks with only a few installs for today. [import]uid: 79620 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142445[/import]
Thanks rebelmax. So the extra installs are shown today not on the day before (or the day of the issue)?
Cheers.

@LairdGames yup. They all came in this morning for todays stats. Thats how I see it anyways. [import]uid: 79620 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142464[/import]
Same here. I thought they were up and running but it seems that the installs added yesterday were the ones lost last week. Wish they were more consistent and responded to emails more promptly. [import]uid: 44127 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142487[/import]
Hey guys,
Did anyone of you see their install rate going down to 0.5 % since Sunday, while having the same or more impressions and clicks?
My average IR was 1 install for every 70 clicks. But since Sunday it has been down.
Here’s my stats for the last week:
Day Impressions Clicks Installs IR CTR eCPM Revenue
2013-02-12 8,688 1,945 12 0.62% 22.39% $2.16 $18.80
2013-02-11 13,851 3,051 21 0.69% 22.03% $3.26 $45.14
2013-02-10 14,457 3,359 18 0.54% 23.23% $2.61 $37.77
2013-02-09 10,165 2,471 33 1.34% 24.31% $7.57 $76.94
2013-02-08 9,230 2,135 30 1.41% 23.13% $6.14 $56.65
2013-02-07 9,955 2,313 33 1.43% 23.23% $6.61 $65.77
2013-02-06 11,664 2,975 45 1.51% 25.51% $7.62 $88.92
2013-02-05 6,205 1,902 44 2.31% 30.65% $14.46 $89.73
Strange thing is, even with a lot of impressions and clicks, I get half or even a third from what I was getting with less clicks.
Just wondering if you guys have the same.
[import]uid: 50459 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142504[/import]
the same with me
almost no install on ios .
The install count on android seems normal , but the ecpm low [import]uid: 143797 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142507[/import]
I’m just throwing this out there so take it for what its worth.
But maybe if you concentrated more on your actual game versus these Micro Sale schemes you would be able to enjoy a lift with the free press. You’re game is GREAT but pretty simple… it could be easily expanded into something more ‘game like’ that enjoys press reviews.
What if your ‘SpaceCommander’, who defends these planets, traveled across a galaxy, each point in the galaxy was a different stage of difficulty in your game. Maybe a cut scene showing a general telling you, that you are almost there or something.
I fear that Corona has become a place where people are more interested in making a quick buck with add revenue than focusing on the art of games.
[import]uid: 100299 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142292[/import]
@Lava Level. I hear you. Yes the game is NOT finished but believe me when I say that Space Command is not a great way to make a buck. The game took 2 years to develop (part time)! We cannot call that a quick way to make a buck. LOL I wanted to release a more finished game (aliens attacking…) but come to the realization that after 2 years my game did not meet a single customer (other than couple beta testers ) So I decided to release the most polished app I could and add to it as time permit. GREAT ideas by the way. Thanks!
In term of monetization, I came to realize also that paid is probably not the best way and I am exploring other avenue like Revmob. And as I said, I am very pleased with it. Sure it has bad days but I think it is one of the best ad network around.
Thanks again for your comments.

I am seeing the RevMob CPMs go off a cliff this weekend, too. Something must definitely not be reporting correctly with their revenue data. Is this the case, Paulo/Gui?
Thanks [import]uid: 25108 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142299[/import]
Geesh, well then in that way it’s way better to get it out to as many customers as possible. Have you considered maybe making a light version (free) that points to the 99cent one that has juuuuust a little more? Because I bought the 99cent one, and so maybe the free one is without ads? Are they the same thing, one with ads one without? [import]uid: 100299 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142300[/import]
THANKS for buying SC! Yes the only difference is the ads. They both the same game (no limitation) And yes you are right, the BIG mistake was not put it in front of customers long time ago and then updated as I go. Like many developers I wanted to put out the PERFECT app on day one. I cannot imagine how many apps I could have done during that period of time. Still I am happy that I was able to release a polished game. It took a long time to learn all the different aspect of the game dev (special effects, saving game settings, social, cleaning memory leaks…) So it is an experience I can use for my future games…

@marshman, thanks for reporting. I feel better. I am sure it will clear up… [import]uid: 100814 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142303[/import]
Oh definitely I think it is a great start! Plus since you are out there free, I dont think it would take much to push this further. However I TOTALLY understand about putting out an imperfect app, lol. I am in the middle of a major update scramble myself!!!
I see a TON of potential for the game, and I actually find myself playing it a lot. The high-res graphics are nice, and apparently the ONLY way to go on iPAD with Corona. (because they force bilinear filtering! ARGGHH!) So I got my 1$ out of it. [import]uid: 100299 topic_id: 35771 reply_id: 142306[/import]
