$10 eCPM GUARANTEED. Meet RevMob!

@guischv,

Huge +1 for RevMob accessing the native code of Corona SDK.

But I don’t think that entering partnership with AnscaMobile is a good idea. Because AnscaMobile will take a cut from developers’ profit. I believe they did the same thing with Inmobi and Inner-active.

The other way which RevMob can do is “Corona Enterprise” which let RevMob access the native code of Corona SDK. I think it is most feasible choice for now. The link is as follows:

@poon – are you using the latest SDK version? It is supposed to fix this error.

@jimwchen – Hi, just to confirm you’re not crashing anymore, right?? And thanks a lot for the Corona Enterprise link.

@info583 – Hey there, thanks for your comment. The forum post was actually meant to get feedback and help from you guys on what is the best we could do. We’ll take a close look at Corona Enterprise! Thanks for the suggestion.

Our update for our app using RevMob went live today and the new version is using fullscreen revmob ads. We can already see that the clicks are much higher but no installs except for one, which was me testing if it registered. Anyone else getting this?

@gulschv – I was using RevMob 1.0.1. Will 1.0.3 fix the crashing problem? [import]uid: 92621 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112364[/import]

@oskwish,

Did your app go live on iOS or Android store ?

@poon,
The verison 1.0.3 at least will bring you more Android users for your RevMob ads. Some of Android devices can not see the RevMob ads if not using version 1.0.3. [import]uid: 42593 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112382[/import]

@guischv,

I will try my Android device again once I got the chance. I have deployed my app to Google play for 4 days. So far I got one NullPointerException error report in Google Play. But I don’t know how many errors truely out there.

By the way, the average RevMob revenue per install for my app in Google Play is only $1.06 which is a lot less than $2.00 mentioned in this forum. Is it right ? [import]uid: 42593 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112388[/import]

@ jinwchen - Thanks. While 1.0.3 might bring more ad views for Android, what I really need is for the crashes to stop, as I was starting to get negative reviews by users because of the crashes. My flurry analytics showed that I was getting 400+ errors a day in my app once I turned RevMob on, and that went down back to 10 errors a day after I removed RevMob. I need assurance that going from 1.0.1 to 1.0.3 will stop the crashes. [import]uid: 92621 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112397[/import]

@poon,

How many NullPointerException errors in your Google Play report if you turn the RevMob on ? [import]uid: 42593 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112398[/import]

@poon – that’s correct! the new SDK fixed the crashes in relation to the one you’re using. Please update your app.

@jinwchen – we are still delivering a $2 on average. on iOS we have some campaigns paying a higher cost per install, on Android it’s usually lower, which is expected. But we’re fighting for a higher cost per install on Android too.

[import]uid: 137117 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112403[/import]

FYI: on iOS my install has a value of $1.80 generally and Android $0.40c. I hope both RevMob numbers GROW even more!

I really wish to marry RevMob! .)
Thanks guys,
Rodrigo. [import]uid: 89165 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112414[/import]

@guischv – Thanks, we’ll try 1.0.3 for Android and see if it stops crashing. How about for iOS? Does 1.0.1 have the crashing problem on iOS as well, or are we ok waiting later to upgrade to 1.0.3 for iOS? I ask because our iOS build with 1.0.1 is in Apple testing at the moment. [import]uid: 92621 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112422[/import]

@poon – Hi, I don’t think there will be crashes on iOS, but anyway the newest SDK offers a higher eCPM. So it’s definitely a good idea to update your iOS app too! [import]uid: 137117 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112428[/import]

@guischv,

I have tried my app on my Android device and saw no crash so far. [import]uid: 42593 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112435[/import]

Hi guys,

how do you handle the situation, where device is not connected to the network?
I’ve got two cases, which I have to decide how to handle:
1 - device is not connected to the network [currently, when testing on my device revmob will not show up at all]
2 - device is connecteed to the network but due to network problems it can’t reach revmob servers [currently, when testing on my device, screen is dimmed, the loading animation is shown and nothing happens after that].

How do you handle such cases?

Thanks,
Krystian [import]uid: 109453 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112450[/import]

your app is crashing on my iPhone 4. I assume it is happening when the full-screen ad loads on level 3 or 4. Otherwise great game concept! [import]uid: 75779 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 112524[/import]

I should have specified:

@mckee282002

Is it crashing to the homescreen or do you get an error?
Level 3 and 4 in which world?

Glad that you like the game! :slight_smile:

@ oskwish

World 1 it happens i assume where you put your first ad. It goes into a load that never loads(freezes),
If you exit out than relaunch the app it is still in ‘load limbo’ not good. Must delete the app than re-download it to get it to work again.

And it freezes up again :frowning:

@mckee282002

So it was the first ad on your device?
If you exit the app by pressing home and then double press home and delete it from the multitask menu, what happens if you start the app again? I don’t have this problem on my devices. What iOS version are you using?
