Amplitude - No longer available - is this correct?

Just coming back to a game I have with Amplitude for analytics.   I see stat’s still come through on the Amplitude site.

I want to update/rebuild the app but I note the Amplitude error.  So from what I gather I can no longer build with Amplitude is this correct?

Hi Greg,

Yes, you should use another service, for example Flurry or GameAnalytics:

http://docs.coronalabs.com/plugin/flurry/index.html

http://docs.coronalabs.com/plugin/gameanalytics/index.html

Take care,

Brent

Can I ask why this is the case?

Amplitude is amazing. Certainly far superior to Flurry.

Any update as to why this was the case and how do we get Amplitude back?

Amplitude is by far the best analytics software I’ve used, Flurry was absolutely awful (unusable to be honest).

I’m in a position where my live game is using Amplitude, but if I update the Corona SDK then I lose much needed functionality.  What’s the easiest way to get this back? Implement it as my own plug-in?

I don’t know why.  If you want to use it, since you’re Enterprise, there isn’t a reason why you could use Enterprise builds and continue to use them.

Thanks Rob, I didn’t realise until now that it was Amplitude that implemented the plug-in, I’d assumed it was Corona.

I’ve contacted Amplitude to see if they can re-instigate the plug-in.
