Anyone know if it's possible to retrieve a notification from IOS notification center that was ignored?

I’ve just started using OneSignal (GameThrive) and really like it’s ease of use. There’s just one thing I would like to do if it is possible. When I send a notification and the app is not active I get the notification just fine. If I choose to ignore the notification then it is only available to see again within Apple’s Notification Center. Some users may never view the notification center to see if they missed any notifications.

What I would like to do, if it is possible, is to be able to check the notification center on app start up and see if there was any notification that was not viewed by the user. If so, then retrieve that data and display the notification within the app.

Any ideas out there? Is something like this even possible with Corona?

Hey. George from OneSignal here.

Unfortunately this isn’t really possible on iOS. A possible method of doing something similar would be to set up a backed server for your app and then have your app check in with the server to see if there’s new messages to show.

Thanks George,

Yeah, I figured it was probably not possible do to and have already done just what you suggested. But, I thought I would check anyway just incase someone has managed to do it.
