The Bonbonbear thermometer plugin provides API access to the Bluetooth body temperature thermometer. With this plugin, you are able to find available thermometers in the vicinity, connect to them, and view information such as name, temperature, or battery status.
These people have developed all the part of bluetooth 4.0 to use with their devices. There is a way to make the Bluetooth 4.x plugin open to all developers? this way we can connect to iBeacons and a lot of more devices!
I will pay for it if it is possible.

jalemanyf, currently I can detect surrounding BT devices (including rssi) and connect to them. Working on reading arbitrary characteristics from the device.

jalemanyf, do you have Corona Enterprise subscription? It is available for Enterprise at the moment and will become available for regular users as soon as I set up documentation server.
