eCPM data points

Hi, I noticed that eCPM on Android is really a lot lower. I heard discussion about this before, so wanted to cross check again as I read somewhere that with February and March companies start spending more money on ads.
For iOS:
eCPM is typically between 0.3 - 0.5 (iPad usually is on the higher side)

For Android:
eCPM is typically below 0.1 cents.
Do others see the same?

Hey Johann,

I saw this post of yours - so I can’t leave you without an answer:)

You are correct to say that on iOS the avg. eCPM is higher than on Android.
iPad eCPM is around $0.85 and iPhone eCPM is around $0.60 from your stats, though the Android eCPM is much lower. Android users are more used to see ads in free apps and click less on ads which decreases the avg. eCPM.

In many cases, the ads presented on iPhone are more lucrative with higher CPC rates.

Nevertheless, we are working hard on increasing the avg. eCPM for Android traffic. You can see that in the past days we have even succeeded in this mission  [import]uid: 109623 topic_id: 23229 reply_id: 94287[/import]

Hi Orly, and thanks for the follow up!

Yep, I see that Android CTR is a lot less compared to iPhone/iPad CTR. And yes, I noticed an increase in the eCPM for Android  - hopefully the trend continues.
