iAd now supprot Interstitial,Pre-Roll Video,MREC ,and does corona now supprot Interstitial on iphone

We’ve supported Interstitial ads for a long time.   I don’t know about the Pre-roll Video, MREC and other features.

ads.show(“interstitial”)

will have iAds show an interstital instead of a banner.

Rob,

Corona does not support interstitials on iphone in the previous release.  Does the latest release now support iphone?

I asked Engineering about this, but in the height of all the Apple chaos over the past couple of weeks, I’m not sure it got looked at.  Let me ask again.

Our focus is getting iOS 8 and the new iPhones supported.  iAds is plugin based and is something we can look at after we get a build out that support all of these recent Apple changes.

There isn’t a set amount.  It’s a matter of complexity, engineering bandwidth, value to the community, etc.  For instance there are somethings with hundreds of votes but is insanely complex, other things get done with fewer votes.  The feedback site is just used for us to gauge popularity and isn’t an absolute measure.
