Hello Everyone!
My name is Chris, I’m fifteen and a half and live in California. I love Corona SDK! It has allowed me to accomplish things I could have only dreamed of accomplishing and I’m looking forward to releasing my first app soon!

Hi all,
I run a IT software startup called redbytes software. I have spent last 15 years in financial services managing IT projects and last 2 years running my own company in India. its been a enjoyable ride so far. I discovered corona earlier this year while researching for mobile sdk’s and since have launched tinytapps (website yet to be up) focussing on apps for toddlers and younger kids. previously worked in business domains like finance, realestate, retail.
I love the community out here and would like to thank all of the helpful folks here.
I plan to evangelise and provide corona sdk training to engineers in India. we are rolling out a series of apps as well shortly.

Hi, I’m Lionel Powell from Illinois.
I’m old enough to remember when PONG first came out. I have 20+ years of experience in software development, but I still found developing apps in Objective-C to be very difficult to learn. I was about ready to give up on developing apps when I say a news story about Bubble Ball reaching the top spot in ITunes. The article mentioned CoronaSDK so I decided to give it a look.
After just a few months with CoronaSDK, I now have my first 2 apps in iTunes ( a paid version and a free version of the same game). Now I’m learning the marketing side of the apps business.
These forums have been very helpful. Thanks to all who contribute here.
Lionel

Hello everyone,
My name is Jamie Billy. I’m a systems administrator by day, and an aspiring iOS developer by night. I live in North East Ohio and have a 3 yr old daughter and a son on the way. I’m not really a programmer, but I’ve been able to grasp the CoronaSDK pretty well. With any luck, I’ll be releasing my first game Crazy Kernels within the next few months. So far, the Ansca community has been great. I hope to continue learning from some of you more seasoned developers in the forums. Check out my progress at www.furthermobile.com and @furthermobile on twitter. Thanks and I can’t wait to see what you all release next.

Hello,
This is Doug, designer by trade. I have been doing Blackberry theme design for a while (hence the name BerryMobi, www.berrymobi.com) and decided to try out the iOS apps once I got my iPhone 4 (RIP, BB…) Tried GS and Torque series for a very short while but found it to be too limiting. Obj. C was too hard. Corona was the perfect solution! I love the active community and helpful people & documents. I especially like the fact that the big man (that’s you, Carlos) is actively participating in every aspect of the business I know Corona will only get better [import]uid: 39031 topic_id: 5909 reply_id: 46986[/import]

Hello All,
My name is Ed Wainwright, I live in Kissimmee, Florida.
My First computer was a Navy Gun Fire Control Computer Mark-1A on CVS-11 Intrepid. All servo motors, cams, levers and gears (it weighted a ton and measured about 4 ft, by 4 ft, by 6, the only output was elevation, bearing, range, and fuse setting.)
After college, and teaching for 5 years, I renewed my interest, using basic on Atari, Apple Clones, Apple 2C, and IBM Clones; as I worked for WDW Procurement. I found the computers gave my department a competitive advantage. I also got named as internal developer, and handed a copy of dBase 3+ and told to build a system to build, bid, order, and track the requirements for new Hotel FF&E.
After a major heart attack in 2002 I have been out on disability, receiving a heart transplant in 2009.
I have always enjoyed programing. After I got my iPad and my HYC EVO phone wanted to develop mobile apps. Corona seems to be an ideal environment. Developing my first app, was much like my adventure at learning dBase 3 on my own 20 years ago. I want to thank Peach and SeanH for providing me some direction when I got lost in the ios provisioning jungle.
Well I have published in the android, and ios markets, and am starting on my second app.
Thanks to everyone who has shared with me in #corona, the forums, and the support group.

@Sravan - welcome
@Ed - nice to see you post here, although obviously I already know you
I’m sorry to hear about your health problems - I am sure it must be difficult for you sometimes although it does not sound like it is holding you back
No worries about the iOS provisioning jungle Was very happy to see you get your app out there.
