Over the last few days the only ad I see is a question mark?

Hi everyone,

There was some great momentum recently on this forum, although I noticed it slowed down quite a bit.

How are folks doing with inneractive?

I implemented it and am ready to release my game, but since 2 days the only ad I get is a black bar with a question mark inside…

Do others see the same? It’s really a bit of an odd user experience, and I doubt anyone clicks it because it’s tiny too. I remember the black bars where always there but the ad was a decent size- now the ad is just a little picture with a question mark… Anybody else sees the same?

Did anyone go live with inneractive yet? How does it go? Do people click on that stuff?

Hey wonderwuzzi,

I have seen one of these question mark ads, however that’s it - every other time I’ve looked it has displayed a proper ad.

I went live with inneractive back in Decemeber, I forget the date but it was about a week after they teamed up with Ansca. I have had great fill rates (95%+) and very good CTR.

Of course this is just my own experience so hopefully others can share some thoughts as well.

I am mostly worried that the app reviewers at Amazon might not like the UI experience (on another thread I read one got rejected because of the black bars).

Hopefully the not so appealing ads and black bars are removed soon from the inneractive network. I just went ahead and submitted the game today, let’s see what Amazon says. :slight_smile:

Same here - I see on my iPad only black banners with question marks in the middle. On iPhone Inneractive banners are OK…

Hey to all the developers that see question marks :slight_smile:

Question mark instead of a banner means that there is an issue with this specific ad (probably you all saw the same ad).

In order for us to locate the banner and resolve this issue I will need the following information:

  • OS
  • Time zone
  • Country
  • URL link
  • Device IP

Please email this information to my email orly[at]inner-active[dot]com and we will resolve this ASAP.

Without this information we wont be able to locate the missing banner.

As pointed out, it always works on wifi and never on 3g.
Is there reason to think this is related to a specific banner?

hi - I got this as well and it seems the inneractive CDN server is returning a 404/page-not-found for the image request,

here’s an example:

I apologize for the late reply, we had a national holiday.

Unfortunately, I believe there is a problem with this specific banner, our advertising team are now fixing this issue.
