Push Notification Segments using API

Is there an API method to create segments or does this have to be done manually through the GameThrive website?  I would like to be able to create segments dynamically and send notifications based on those segments.

If not, I also noticed a comment that the new API supports sending push notifications to specific device_ids.  Can you link me to where in the API that can be done?

Hi! There’s not a way to create segments with the API yet, however, we did recently add support for sending a notification to devices based on tags. And yes, we also support sending notifications to a list of IDs through the API.

I created an app on gamethrive and the user doesnt have any segment or tag. How do I actually define a users segment?

I looked at your apps on our system and I see you have users subscribed and you sent a few notifications successfully. Let us know if you have any other specific issues.

Thanks JKasten. It might have been Google GCM service needed some time to be activated.
