Social Plugin - Facebook on Android

I was reading up on the facebook thread that you guys link to via the documentation under the Android Gotcha.

Just wondering if it’s possible to not pre-populate the facebook API with text. And just provide an image. At least then people can get to facebook via the app.

Seems much better than just giving up on Facebook on Android altogether?

If you’re talking about using Corona’s native.showPopup() social plugin to share images and URLs on Facebook, it works on iOS but is broken on Android. We’ve had a discussion since last year about it here:

Oh my bad. But thank you, I’m now up to date!

No need to apologize! Creating a new thread may surface the topic for folks who weren’t following the other one, and, equally important, it may remind Corona staff that there’s strong interest in fixing broken Android sharing!
