Techority 48 Hour Challenge 2012

Hey everyone,

I wanted to know how many people would likely be interested in participating in the Techority 48 Hour Challenge if I were to run one again this year.

If you could post or tweet at me to let me know it would help me work out whether or not enough of you are interested to make it competitive and fun.

Naturally prizes are still undecided and I’ll be asking around later for sponsors if there’s enough interest.

It would once again be held in the last weekend of February.

You know…I would LOVE to participate BUT maybe only in 2013 cause by now my brain cannot due to it`s lack knowledge unfortunately. :\

A programmer and an artist would be nice.
I do stick figures and shapes, but i’m not very good at it.

Super cool sounding event. Would be so nice to be able to participate, but finishing up the final details of my game while holidays coming up (which will delay me a couple of weeks), etc., etc., etc… I don’t think I have any bandwidth left for super intense event like this. I’ll be looking for the winners, just like Rodrigo, though. :wink:

Stewart, last year if I recall people could work with a 2nd person for art/sound/etc if they wished. (Although FYI you can grab some decent free art off clker.com if that interests you.)

Naomi, it wont be until the last weekend of February so if you change your mind I’d encourage you to get into it. (I’ve seen lots of your posts and you’re clearly up to a challenge.)

I hope to figure out some details over the weekend.

Those of you who want teams - are you thinking 2 people, 3 people? I have to plan ahead as obviously there will need to be a way of judging fairly that doesn’t disadvantage anyone based team numbers.

It would be the 25th and 26th of February. (That’s the last Saturday and Sunday of the month.)
