Still, nothing wrong with starting out small - I only had a laptop for the first year that I was developing and I am mad jealous of everyone who has great large desks and a well lit work area, like Naveen’s setup.

Here’s my work space in a corner of the living room. The 15" MBP with Lion is on the sitdown desk. My 17" Dell with WinXP is on the standup desk. Since I’m an old Windows programmer, I go back and forth, but I am gradually spending more of my time on the Mac, as I find the apps to replace what I used on Windows.

My desk is 5 feet on each side, it’s a corner desk that’s in 3 pieces center, left and right. On their own each wing is it’s own desk that combined make one mega desk.
I’m in the middle of cleaning it up, but I have a MBP on it and that’s it. I have a few keyboards, a 64 channel ghost mixer (flying faders ftw), guitars, basses, every iOS devices, several droids, a nook, kindle etc.
My set up closely resembles richard P although my office is about 3x that size. Bruce’s office is nice and bright, that’s really cool I wish I got that much light in my office.
