$10 eCPM GUARANTEED. Meet RevMob!

Hi all. Thanks a lot for reporting again. We have just released the 3.2.2 version with improvements in the Ad Link, including the bugfix and a new listener to identify success and failure scenarios. To give you a explanation, the old implementation of Ad Link works in synchronous scenarios, when we change our requests to be asynchronous, the ad link stop working. That was an unanticipated behavior.

Thanks a lot for reporting and patience.

We are also developing a new feature to facilitate developer tests that we expect to release in 1 or 2 weeks maximum. I believe it will be easier to understand if your implementation is correct.

Still broken :

revmob.lua:520: attempt to call upvalue ‘e’ (a table value) … hmmm … not sure why you’re code is some badly formatted (obfuscation? If so, why??)

Anyway, still no joy (if it’s my fault I apologise, but please understand I’ve an app submitted for review already and as it stands, I’m going to have to issue an update before the release date, so I’m a little on edge about it all)

openAdLink() worked for me on the new patch. [import]uid: 147305 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 122363[/import]

We have just released the 3.3.0 version with some new features, including a “test mode” that facilitate your tests independently of your revmob app id. In other words, it will be easier to simulate a success scenario (it always return ads) and a failure scenario (the server will not return a ad).

Working for me now on simulator and android. Thanks RevMob!

@Alexander Alesand: still no luck? [import]uid: 88712 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 122785[/import]

As I suspected, it was my fault (I’d passed an incorrect listener into the adLink() method). Apologies - seems to work now! [import]uid: 87794 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 122397[/import]

RevMob team, please correct the changelog in your website that is showing the version 3.2.1 instead of 3.2.2

Thanks @bcam86. we fix it!

Nice to hear that digitaloranges!

Seems to be working good now on simulator, but I still have the same problems with android device… I get no ads at all. [import]uid: 140666 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 122510[/import]

Hi,

First of all, I have a question about fill rates. Our game MindFeud uses AdMob, and currently we have around 550 000 impressions and 2500 clicks per day in Netherlands, Denmark and Norway on a regular 320 x 50 banner ad. The fillrate is 99.5 %. And the number og impressions/clicks per day is growing rapidly, since the game is very popular.

If we change over to RevMob now, what do you guarantee in terms of fillrates in the above mentioned countries? If you don’t want to answer that, you should at least be open on how well positioned you are in those countries. With the kind of traffic we’re generating, with 100 000 Daily Active Users, we need an ad partner that we can trust, and that helps us generate significant revenue. AdMob works perfectly, but the payouts are peanuts.

After reading your history here I’m not very assured you are professional enough yet. What kind of assurance/guarantees can you/are you willing to give? What can we expect in the Netherlands, Norway and Denmark?

For the record, we’ll be using regular banner ads in combination with Fullscreen ads. With a total of 550 000 impressions per day, 300 000 will be fullscreen ads and 250 000 banner ad impressions.

About the 3.3.0 SDK:

We have just implemented it for testing purposes and get a runtime error in the Simulator:

string :: [RevMob] No ads for this device/country right now

string :: REVMOB: adNotReceived
Runtime error
attempt to call a thread value
stack traceback:

Thank you. [import]uid: 21746 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 123205[/import]

@haakon

Hi.

That’s a great question. We’re developing support to display our fill-rates in the website, but they’re virtually 100% now. Until 10 days ago they were a bit less than 100%, but now that we have a lot of advertisers and we’re actually very soon allowing our publishers to advertise if you use the newest SDK, so the fill-rates should stay 100% for a long time, in our opinion.

Our best ad unit is the Fullscreen, so make sure you show them very frequently in your apps. We have great deals in the Netherlands, Norway and Denmark, so definitely expect a great eCPM in those countries.

As to the technical question, our SDK team will answer it on Monday first thing.

Thanks,
Gui [import]uid: 137117 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 123220[/import]

Hi haakon.

Could you send the result of RevMob.printEnvironmentInformation(REVMOB_IDS) to us, maybe by email (sdk at revmob.com). Are you using the testing mode? What about your internet connection speed?

Thanks for reporting [import]uid: 157102 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 123264[/import]

Things seems to be working better now!
I get ads on both simulator and android device. However, I do not seem to get any registrations when you install the games when you click an ad.

I do get registrations from impressions, clicks and CTR, but nothing at all from installs and eCPM. Are these registrations supposed to be instant?

Maybe I have to publish my app on Google Play before I can see these stats? [import]uid: 140666 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 123271[/import]

Have you opened the app? It will only register when the app is played for the first time. [import]uid: 93133 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 123274[/import]

Yep, I have opened the app. Still no reports. [import]uid: 140666 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 123279[/import]

@Alexander Alesand – can you send the name of the app to marketing@revmob.com? Thanks! [import]uid: 137117 topic_id: 25797 reply_id: 123316[/import]

Guys, I have posted a review of my 2 apps that are running now with revmob.

My revenue went from 0.40 cents a day to around 10 dollars a day. It was way better then inmobi

These are the apps, and the review is here in the forum. If you want to see how I am doing, check out the apps! thanks
