New version of working tileset for episode 1
__
Spikes will now hurt the player
__
Spikes will only hurt if you if you touch the sharp side. Its okay to touch it from the other sides. The wall spikes will only hurt you if you are moving into them when you touch them. Likewise, you can walk right under ceiling spikes without getting hurt, but if you try to jump up into them, they will hurt you. Floor spikes will hurt you no matter what.
__
Lava will now hurt the player. Lava is treated as a solid tile so you can still walk on it.
__
Water tiles now cause the player to hold their breath. The player now has air timer with visual HUD element. When the player is underwater, the meter will appear and start to run out. When the player emerges from water, the timer will refill and hide again. If the air timer reaches 0, the player will instantly die. The timer is currently set for 16 seconds.
__
Modified the collision to return a solid tile if the player tries to go outside of the map. so basically the edges of the map will be treated as solid surfaces and the player can’t get passed them. Otherwise the player would have fallen out of the map and caused an error. Also the elusive jump button finally makes its debut.
Company logo scene transition before title screen.
Modified title screen.
Implemented player animations for the cooresponding actions. Added pause button to controls.
When you press the pause button, the pause overlay scene appears. Press return to continue game.
I saw this color spectrum effect used in the classic arcade game ‘Salamander’ so I wanted to try it out.
Each episode will have a unique prologue and epilogue that will play just on the first play cycle.
player score for each episode is now saved and recorded. This occurs when the player returns to the main menu from the score screen, and when the player achieves a game over.
__
replaced waterfall tile animation with lava surface animation in tile sheet. lava surface does not count as lava tiles and won’t damage the player.

Two years in the making, aiming for a release date on Steam Early Access of September 1st.
This looks fantastic
I’ll be picking this up for sure. Big championship manager fan here
@nick_sherman is there somewhere on Steam that we can follow progress?
@tameem50 Mega Hasan feels great but I think you should work with a better designer. It can be more successful if it looks better.
considering i did all the art for the game you’re probably right
my first time doing pixel art
That’s quite an achievement. Congratulations on that
By the way, what is the reason to make it all free?
because I dont know how to market it and I’d rather more people play it. So few people are willing to pay even a dollar for a mobile game =/
Any one working on any things they would like to share? Show off your work here. Let us know what’s up your sleeve!

Hi all,
It’s Saturday where I am so…
Made a test promo video for my casual mobile game “Circularity”.

Hope to release it before November if I can figure out all the IOS stuff.
Thanks for watching!
I have one which was originally posted last Saturday showing the first art (not finished art!) from our upcoming Tower Defense game. More stuff will come soon.
