I figured out a way to capture gameplay from the simulator and convert it to a gif in photoshop.
Btw, is it possible to make image attachments in posts visible even to people who aren’t logged into corona forum? I can’t figure it out.

I just released Version 2.0 of Tappy Easter.
What is interesting (to some) is that Version 2.0 was re-written using Corona. Version 1.0 was written with “some other game development platform”.
For those interested in the technical hurdles of developing this game 2 times, I blogged about it.
This isn’t much yet, but I’m currently working on a Lights Out clone. Started last weekend with the expectation it’d only take an hour or so to make, and returned to it today again with the expectation I’d be finishing it. Turns out not being, or working with, a designer makes for slow progress…
Definitely need to set playback to 1080p for this one to be worth watching, and the 1080p variant doesn’t seem to have fully propagated across YouTube yet. If you can only view in low quality, try not to judge too harshly, ha!

Argentauria is an MMORPG we’ve been meaning to build for years - it’s one of two games that Qiso was built for. If you do a whois against argentauria.com or look up the Facebook page, you’ll see a 2016 registration date! As if that’s not ridiculous enough, it’s actually something I’ve personally been dipping into every now and again since 2001… Definitely time to stop saying “soon” and just crack on with it, so I’m using screenshotsaturday as motivation. This is going to be a LONG build but if I can have some kind of update ready each Saturday, eventually it’ll be a game.
I’ll post real details later, as a separate post. Until then I feel there’s some value in keeping things a little secretive… Letting the screenshots speak for themselves .
